I was taking a trip through Lohanland, and if I had to pen a travel article on my stay there, it would be one-word short, and in the diction of its indigenous people: "Whatever."I came across the above link to this month's cover story for Elle at Bread and Bread where Cheryl aptly describes the interview as "showcas[ing] Lindsay Lohan's full, proud manic-ness." Go on, take a peek; you won't be able to look away.

My favorite part of the Lindsay Lohan interview was the last paragraph, in which she mentions her beloved Andy Warhol lighter with the "15 minutes of fame" quote on it. This is where she shows that she is just a 19 year old kid, who is still incredibly wet behind the ears.
ReplyDeleteIt is beyond me that a magazine can actually devote so much print to someone like her.
Interesting. I think the beauty of it is that she's aware that it's ridiculous how much print is devoted to her.
ReplyDeleteShe is a 19-20 yr old kid, but in her world everyone does get their 15 minutes, often just by being seen with her.
She's been striving to be a pin up girl... I had no idea her aspirations ran so high.
ReplyDeleteWell, she does have the barely legal thing going for her... might as well put it to use, right? ;)
ReplyDeleteI gulped down the whole article, it's absolutely fascinating! I first saw her in Freaky Friday and thought she was pretty great - I thought she was both beautiful and talented.
ReplyDeleteThough I certainly agree, it's all very ... well it makes you shake your head in disbelief, but I still kinda' like her.
She definitely comes off as manic in that article, but I've enjoyed the stuff I've seen her in.
