Life of Art SitRep #476 Graduation Invitations, Guest Books, Party Supplies

Looking at all the products I added to my store this week, I feel like I was fairly in the zone. Mostly graduation items, some HP laptop skins, and a new set of logo address labels. I added more of the black and white Class Of emblem to invitations, announcements, cap toppers, and guest books. Nearly all of the items I'd made with that design, I made in a navy and white variation.

The rest of the new black and white graduation items can be seen in this collection:

Here are a few of the navy and white Class of Graduate Typography Emblem items:

Life of Art SitRep #475 Graduation Sundries

This week I focused mainly on Class of 2019 graduation gifts, party supplies, and announcements. (If you're seeing this after 2019, you can customize the year on all of these items.) I'm particularly proud of this guest book:

Also created some Add Your Own Business Company Logo Tennis Balls:

Went to a bulb show at a botanical garden and shot 220 photographs. Also saw a botanical drawing exhibit while there. Good for the soul, I tell ya. I culled 45 photos but need to take another pass.

Also uploaded 75 photos and 2 videos from last week, culled 38 photos and rated the rest.

Hiroshige: A Shoal Of Fishes

Hiroshige, A Shoal Of Fishes7. Hiroshige: A Shoal Of Fishes by Hiroshige Andō

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

A collection of Hiroshige's fish prints with poems in an unusually formatted book, a trait I always enjoy. It's not bound. Rather it has hard covers for the front and back but no spine. End papers are attached to the covers and the rest is all folded accordion style. Really it's all one super long page. If you had the space, you could unfold the entire book. It's stored in a cardboard sleeve.

After all the prints, there are pages with thumbnail versions which tell you the type of fish or shellfish pictured, the season indicated by plant life, and translations of the poems.

Life of Art SitRep #472 iPhone Glitter Cases and Office Supplies

I've been working on a new design for a while now, one I thought would be a simple variation just swapping out text which has been nothing but. Today I realized some of the kerning (space between letters) issues I'm seeing may just be a glitch in the design tool. Sigh. That one's still in the works.

Also did some backtracking this week as I learned that a new feature did not behave as expected, so I remade a bunch of products I'd made using it earlier, now without it.

In forward momentum, I created some new cases, a moving announcement postcard, a self inking return address logo stamp, and some file folders:
