Don't touch the cub

If Grey's Anatomy taught us anything this week, it's
angry mama bear
Considering my recent bear encounters, with a mama and cub no less, seeing fictional consequences of a bad bear encounter resonated all the more. As tempting as it was to try and lure the bears back with food scraps, I'm glad I didn't try it.

  2. Absolutely. They look so damn huggable in my photos.

However, having seen how fast a casual jog/run is for them, I know how much trouble I would be in if I was outside when they showed up.

  3. And then laugh hysterically when your brother dies from complications.

  4. Crazy thing is the paper had an article about black bears just the other day that said mama bears being totally fierce about their cubs is a bit of a myth. Even if that's true, it didn't seem wise to print it. They weren't in any way advocating touching cubs, but you just know some idiot's going to misread it and then blame the paper.
