I have an underwear drawer!

Never has a chest of drawers brought me so much happiness. Where has my underwear been all this time, you may ask. Well, you'd probably ask: where has your underwear been all this time? In an extra laundry basket with my socks or stuffed behind a pile of t-shirts either on a chair or a printer box.

The chest arrived with the rest of my stuff from storage, and it seemed ridiculous to put it back in storage when it's something I could really use. My room is looking more mismatched all the time, but it's getting more functional for me which is good.

I'm going to stuff things in drawers now.

  1. Aha.. That's how people do it.. My hubby never complains, but sometimes mentions, in passing, the chair next to my bed where all my clothes are looming (and sometimes falling off)...
Now I know what to want for Christmas :)

  2. Scholiast- Sadly the dresser filled more quickly than anticipated, so I'll probably still have some clothes taking over available flat surfaces. Yea for chairs! (I actually got rid of mine to make room for a bookshelf.)

Armaedes- If nothing matches, then I think you're in good stead. It gives your room character.

  3. Good for you, now why don't you chuck out in the before mentioned garage all that stuff you have shown us previously, that hangs in your closet but isn't yours?

Didn't I tell you this could only bring you joy... a good start is a great beginnng, you know - I see great tidyness in your future and you're gonna love it! "Halle lujah" ;o)

[Am I being a TAD pushy here? Should I mind my own business you say? Well, even the best of intensions can go overboard and I might actually have a fever - so...]

  4. Rarity-I don't have the right to toss stuff that isn't mine as no one in my family has the right to chuck my stuff without my permission. There was talk of moving that stuff to a different closet though (one I happened to unpack two of my old boxes from) so there is hope. I concede that it is nice to have my old books around. The whole venture is ongoing, so encouragement is always good though I do hope you're not still feeling feverish.

  5. oh! didn't mean to throw it away, I meand simply to box it up nicely and move it - but you're obviously considering that already! You go girl!

And, about the fever - I'm actually home from work today, so I guess you must still bear over with me beeing a bit OUT. I promise I'll think clearer ('Claire'r) when the fog lifts from my brains!

  6. Rarity- I was losing momentum, but I'm going to tackle it again today. As for you, watch some good movies, drink some tea, kick back, and feel better soon!
