Note to Self, vol. XVIII?

When you tell someone something you're really excited about, and he or she responds with a weak, emotionless "Good" and immediate subject change (i.e., zero interest), do not dwell in your bummed out feelings.

At least, try not to. It's been a couple of hours and I'm still thinking about it.

Next time though... next time... I'll probably keep it to myself.

  1. I hate that! It's so hard to not get bummed out and dwell on it.

    1. I'm over it now, but I realized the level of bummed directly correlates to how much I value someone's opinion. I don't expect everyone to like what I like, but I do hope that people I care about will respect my enthusiasm.
