54. Thinking in Bets: Making Smarter Decisions When You Don't Have All the Facts by Annie Duke
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
An entertaining read with a lot of strategies and natural biases to unpack.
Separating decision quality from outcomes is a good place to start. A good well-reasoned decision based on the data you had at the time can have a negative outcome and vice versa or a mix of the two.
So, don't beat yourself up if a good decision doesn't work out and don't celebrate your awesomeness when a bad decision does turn out favorably.
The book delves much further into decision making with practical examples and research.
