Pushing Daisies is whimsical, fun, and has mysteries and intrigues that keep me coming back every week. There's nothing else like it on the air right now, and that's a great thing. I do not have it in me to watch another doctor, lawyer, or dramatic crime show; and I never had it in me to watch reality tv.
The bit where Kristen Chenowith breaks into song from last night's episode of Pushing Daisies was brilliant.
I want to see more of that. Please renew Pushing Daisies.

I won't watch your video yet as I haven't watched that episode. Still on the DVR. But I will join you in your call to not have it canceled.
ReplyDeleteI'm almost glad that I never started watching it, because I know I would be hooked, and then horribly disappointed when it got canceled. Just like I was with Veronica Mars.
ReplyDeleteBut now I'm totally going to have to watch it online anyway, just to see what I missed. D'oh.
I watched a few episodes, but never quite got into it. Not sure why, the fantasy sequences really did not appeal to me.
ReplyDeleteKevin: Thanks for your support.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, do wait until you see the ep.
Jenny: I've loved Veronica Mars too even though it got a bit uneven in its last season. Have you seen Wonderfalls (also cut short prematurely)? Pushing Daisies is by the same guy.
Elisabeth: well...someone's got to watch PBS. ;)
Elisabeth: on another note, I love that sequence also for its behind-the-scenes aspects. It's pretty much all in-camera lighting effects which as a former DP/gaffer, I think is awesome. It's very well done.
