Hope

A few days ago I noticed that the tree across the end of the street had been cut down. It was lying in large 10 foot pieces of trunk beside the road.

About a month into the pandemic last year, the people who lived there hung a small hand-painted sign with the word "HOPE" in pale rainbow colors on a white background.

It'd been there for about 9 months.

I'm not sure how I feel about that tree being cut down. I wonder if the utility company took the sign off first, if they returned the hope to the people who shared it.

Bacon

Mom was watching a cooking show when I passed by, well, a cooking competition show. The contestants were adults and it looked like they had paper cones propped in stands to keep them upright filled with bacon strips.

"Their bacon looks good," I commented, meaning it was uniformly dark brown how I like it. It looked like it would snap to the touch, also how I like it.

"It's carrot bacon," Mom said.

I considered her statement for a moment quizzically. 

"You mean it's not bacon at all?"

"Right."

"Hmm. I like carrots too much as they are to screw them up." Didn't seem like a promising ingredient to me. I would try it but without much in the way of positive expectations. I won't be going out of my way to procure it.

Life of Art #572 [New Premium Face Masks]

Created several new premium face masks with abstract, geometric, and logo designs.

They feature "dual layered fabric, adjustable ear loops and a nose wire to ensure a great fit, as well as an insert slot so you can insert a disposable mask inside (sold separately) to provide extra layers of filter protection."

Life of Art #569 [Custom Logo Clocks, Photo ID Badges, Apple Watch Bands, Bandanas]

This week, I created several new Custom Business Logo Wall Clocks with different number styles and white, black, or navy blue backgrounds:


If you need employee badges with photo IDs, I filled out my collection with more color and style variations.

Created some Custom Business Logo Bandana in two styles, pattern and handkerchief style. The pattern is designed so that if you fold it in half along the diagonal to wear as a face covering, you won't fold your logo:


The other bandana style is designed so that if you fold it in quarters, your logo will be facing out:


Also created a Custom Business Logo Pattern on Purple 2 Sided Neck Tie:
