*In tenth grade, I drew a poster illustrating differences between W.E.B. Du Bois and Booker T. Washington for US History. For English that year, I painted a representation of the themes in Shakespeare's Macbeth. I still dig that painting actually.
The real trick of it is that they were right to give me credit for that artwork even though I feel like I managed to get away with something. Just because it's art doesn't mean it's not work.

These guys are awesome. AK and I were just talking about how we used to hate group work in English class, and I added, "Well, except for when your group just had to draw, like, a ven diagram about Huckleberry Finn or something." She said, "I hated the drawing even more than I hated my group." Yet we both majored in English in college, so go figure.

ReplyDeleteActually, these guys are from when we studied Greek mythology in social studies in 6th or 7th grade. I think A appears in the Odyssey but not B.
